showing appreciating

What kinds of things does your administration do to show you that they value your efforts and appreciate you?

appreciation

Principal sends a weekly email on Sundays, telling us what is scheduled for the next week or two, lists some other interesting stuff, and always thanks individuals who have helped out in extra ways during the past week.

Principal is always warm and ends every conversation with "let me know how I can support you with that." She responds quickly whenever I do ask for help or support.

Principal thanks the staff warmly at the beginning and end of each staff meeting.

tough question!

As this is on the inspiration board, I will not post my answer about administration, but instead about my coworkers. We tell each other often how much we love working together and how lucky we feel to work with each other. That is what keeps us going...

Last year

our principal had us write compliments to each other (they were anonymous)--they were typed up individually and placed in our mailboxes. It was so nice to see what kind things others thought about us! I hope we do it again!
