"this board is exclusively for special needs"
 

Hi All,

It's been a while since I have visited the board... I found a job at a new and great school and so I have been busy adjusting...

I find the title of this board to be quite humorous! "this board is exclusively for special needs teachers" It sounds like we are the ones with special needs lol (laugh out lous). Although there are some times when I think my students rub off on me, Thanks for the good laugh pro teacher board designers!

That reminds me how sometimes teachers will say things like, "I'm LD.", or "I'm MR." to say what special ed. field they're in. :)

Board Introduction
 

Hi! The title color and introduction were recently changed, because this board will benefit from a new feature we'll be introducing in two weeks. The introduction is our 'default text'. We would be happy to change it to something else! Ideas?? :)

Frankly, as a mom of a sped kid, and a teacher of sped kids, if it walks like a duck and sounds like a duck, it's probably a duck! (This comes from parents who don't want labels but we have to deal with their kids anyway, so it doesn't matter what you call it!)
