Music For the Classroom

I like the idea of playing music in the classroom. Does anyone have some great songs or types of music that would be good to play in the classroom.

I use this great guitarscapes music for our

'work' music. It's all instrumental and I trained a first grader to run the CD player (even a kinder can do that from years past) It also has birds and water on it. I have used SPA music in the past as well. This one has enough beat to keep them from going to sleep but not get too excited. Get something you enjoy b/c you will be listening to it a lot.

I play classical music and some wordless CDs that are like the type you get in a gift shop.

How about Pandora? The website is free and you can choose whatever genre of music you want to listen to. My class loves it!
