Covid Self Tests

Our superintendent is pushing all staff (certificated, classified and management) to submit the Covid self-test that was mailed to them by our insurance companies.

Why? What reward will he get from this? I understand that the more negative tests reported brings down the positivity stats.

I donít trust the guy so Iím suspicious of his motivation.

Can anyone explain this?

I think some parents feel better knowing that they are sending their children back in person when they know their teachers have been tested.

I can't imagine he'd be getting a reward. If I was in his shoes I'd just want to know that everyone had tested and was negative.

He doesnít care about the employees. I think his only motivation is to lower the overall positivity rate by getting more negative tests in the mix.
