Spring Program

I was wondering if anyone has any ideas for songs that would be appropriate for 4th graders to sing at our Spring Program. Our school isn't very organized so I heard that the theme was rainbows....but who knows. I'll go with anything that has to do with Spring. Any ideas would be appreciated!

Rainbow songs
I did a program with younger kids once using theme of Rainbows, but one song comes to mind that would work well for 4th graders. Probably my first thought is "Rainbow Connection" - as sung by Kermit the Frog. It's a great song! You could just sing it, or you could do the whole Kermit thing and go all out :-)

"Why are there so many songs about rainbows,
And what's on the other side?
Rainbows are visions, they're only illusions,
Rainbows have nothing to hide" ...

Have your kids wear blue jeans, then have 5 of them wear red shirts, 5 to wear orange, 5 to wear yellow, etc. and line them up on-stage as if they were creating the colors of the rainbow.
Or let them all make streamers to wave during the program. Use donated paint stirring sticks from the hardware store and tape on long strips of crepe paper using rainbow colors. It will look very "festive" and Spring-time!

Thanks, I'll look that one up. I also like the idea of the colored shirts.

Are there any websites out there that have songs to use with elementary/intermediate aged children?

Here are a couple of songs about rainbows
Greg and Steve have a song titled The World is a Rainbow on their CD. I used the De Colores song with the kids slowly waving colorful streamers attached to sticks, as well as other creatures from the song (chickens, birds, etc.).
