Costumes for play

My class is doing a play in May. I need some ideas for costumes - the main characters are a tiger, dragon, thunder, and sky. I made a mask from feathers a while ago, but I can't find a store that sells feathers anywhere. Any ideas?

Thanks,
Christine

Try these places

You should be able to find bags of feathers at Michael's, JoAnn's, Hobby Lobby, etc. You can also order online from places like Dick Blick, Sax, or United Art and Education.

You might also check with Oriental Trading. They have very reasonable items through their web site and it is quick and painless.

I think it is more economical if you make feathers out of ropes(ropes can be coloured with colours and dry it) or coloured paper that you cut into long strips.

do you need ideas?

Face paint would work for your tiger and dragon. What age level is this?
