typing line over number for repeating decimal

Is there any way to place a line over a number to show a repeating decimal? I normally print out my worksheet and then draw the short line in before copying but I know there are so many tricks out there that I am not familiar with so thought I would ask!

I do know...

that in Open Office Writer they have a style format feature called overline. I have not, however, found that feature in Microsoft Office. My school district has switched over to Open Office for students to save money. I have found several features in it that I like much better than Microsoft. It can be downloaded for FREE at OpenOffice.org

line

If you use the drawing tools, you can add a line of any size, horizontal, vertical or any diagonal. It isn't something that appears as you type, but something to add separately. Here's an explanation for Word 2003, but it's similar in other versions.
