Powerpoints

I like the "types of government" powerpoint by Jefferson County Schools in TN (7th grade level). Google it and you will find the powerpoint. It is very easy to understand and has a game at the end....

Time for Kids

My son's class used Time for Kids when he was in the 5th grade. He seemed to enjoy it, and the magazine was pretty informative with inventions, current events and even some articles on talented kids!

Continents Song

There is a song that you can teach the kids about the 7 continents. If you google 7 continents song, you will come up with it. It is pretty easy to learn, and the kids seem to remember them better...
