Root Beer floats, and milkshakes at the A&W drive-in restaurant. A car hop
would take your order, and hang a metal serving tray on the car door. Some
may have had servers on roller skates. :)

I think it should be fine for two weeks, or more, without any problems.
If the area feels back to normal following the dental work, I wouldn't worry.
