I agree ot reminds them of simpler times. My dd 14 will sometimes turn on Dusney or cartoons if she's feeling anxious and trying to fall asleep.

I dont think it will ever stop, but we have to try to let it go. I definitely worry about my ds more on the weekends when he is home and coming in from work/friends super late than I do when he's on...

Yes! Love it. My dd 14 can be very fierce and say she doesn't need anyone's help (even a guy), and she can do things on her own and wont put up with any bs. Apparently a guy friend ask her one day...
