I have tried, but, I'd sleep.
I'd wake up at some crazy time like...

I never knew the popular toy to teach biology.
I just took a wild guess on a bunch of them. :) It was so fun to see some old items though.
I had never seen the lady movie star either.
You scored...

When teaching in another area, I remember telling kids often that I had to go quickly b/c I had duty.
I think it was regional or accent, but they'd often laugh and say the teacher has
to do...

could call you crazy! :) Some districts are hiring subs for the district full time this year out of desperation.
It is great though if you have no problem saying, "No!" A P could not guilt trip me...

I read the other day

That they were trying to make next year tax free due to Covid for anyone who made less than 100 K a yr. I wouldn't bank on it, but I'd check it out. <!--apple-->

He renamed the "John" to the word "Jim".
So now when he gets asked that, he tells people that he goes to the Jim a lot.
It is funny b/c I have been asked the same...

Did you take the antiviral early on? I got them a few yrs ago, but got to the dr pretty quickly. I don't remember being tired.
I hope you only get them 1x in life. They aren't sure, but the dr told...

No it does not sound safe to me

New students should have to quarantine in my opinion. I still can't believe schools are starting up in person. I am so sorry you are in that position. <!--grumpy--> mad at the systems like this!...

We did not have them, but all of our neighbors did.
Jelly jars were made in the shape of a cup and were decorated with Fred Flintstone and other characters. Once they used the jelly, they washed out...

LOL! My mom used them!

We were raised super healthy......not much sugar.
I found her stash of them ( hidden) as a little kid and remember I'd sneak one every now and then.
They had caramel and later chocolate.

Lonely and stressed

I have done OK w/ the lonely part. Early on, 6 of us decided to make a bubble and keep it tight. We shop online only ( unless there is an emergency.) Then we wear masks, sanitize, go home, wash our...

If it is , color me abnormal! :)

This will be my 1st yr retired, but I feel like New Jersey.
I absolutely love to sleep until I wake up w/out an alarm clock.
I feel 100% rested every summer.
Also, I could not have chosen a better...

Woah! I am so sorry!

I hope you get better soon. Were you able to see a dr? I hope so. Here the drs will not see you.
You call a phone number, get tested at a hospital, and told to go home, quarantine, and ride it out...

That is a funny dream, but I do feel like the school district I worked at felt like we were all expendable. So there is a little truth in the humor.
I usually have a back to school nightmare before...

I started the Great Purge

2 years in advance. Many nights, I'd fill both garbage cans w/ stuff I didn't think I'd use again and knew no one else would want. I wanted to do it kind of slick, so they wouldn't think I was going...

retirement. With Covid, it is different than I expected though. I had planned to do things, I can't do now. The best part of the day is waking up w/out an alarm clock, being able to slowly drink a...

I was in the same BC for about 10 yrs.

About 1/2 the time was about the book and half social event. We had some good cooks in that group! Cooking wasn't my strongest suit. :) Our group stayed tight. We only lost a couple of members who...

That sounds so good!

We haven't been able get decent meat where I live for the last couple of months.
I had to throw out 2 packages of meat (after I cooked them) last week. For me to do that, they had to be BAD.
