If you have access to one computer connected to an LCD (or SmartBoard), you can make your own learning video games. Really all you do is type in the questions/answers and the site generates games...

Power Teaching/Whole Brain

Not sure why the name was changed, but Power Teaching is a Powerful method to grab the students attention. It is great for teaching definition terms using kinesthetic methods too.

I have used chat rooms or backchannels. Students simply type a question into the chat and I can type the answer back or visit them. Since there is a transcript, I can always scroll up or down to get...

My reasons

1. I love the age group. Older than elementary so that (hopefully) do not wet themselves, but most not involved hardcore with the sensual/drug influence of high school.
