I got a degree

In earth science and then went back to get a second undergrad degree in elementary ed. Getting a masterís would have made me too expensive to get hired in my state.

It is rare,

but the school board can definitely reject a hire. I was actually at a board meeting where it happened. The candidate eventually found full-time work in a nearby district.

My own kids

absolutely hated community supplies. It was not that they didnít want to share but rather that the community supplies often werenít well cared for by the group. I wouldnít do it.

Quite honestly,

I wouldnít sweat it. The only way we score above proficient is if our classes are almost entirely student-led. That just isnít possible with all groups.
