5 year appliances may be good

Every time I have had to replace a major appliance, the new one has had so many new features and uses so much less energy that I'm glad to have made the swap. The nostalgic part of me fights it. but...

I have heard people call this a teeter totter in other parts of the country. Also, a slide to most people was a sliding board when I was growing up in eastern Pennsylvania.

Wind down gradually

When my father was diagnosed with diabetes, we were leery of artificial sweeteners so we mixed 1/2 store bought diet tea with 1/2 home brewed unsweetened tea and added a bit more lemon than usual....

Who hasn't dealt with a kid whose parents are probably the reason the kid does everything possible to degrade the learning environment for 20 or 25 other students? The problem when your kid is named...
