So much around weddings and showers

drives me crazy. I cannot believe the way rules have been thrown out the window, but you'd think I'd get used to it, as it's been going on for fifty years, anyway.

No, it is not proper for any...

I agree with a PP--your teeth won't feel clean anymore if you use a manual toothbrush. Wait until you go in for a cleaning and see how FAST it goes, because your teeth are so clean. It seriously...

I just read this

so it's too late for the job you applied for. I hope you got it. If you didn't, but still think you would like to go to middle school, talk in an interview about how MS kids are often just big...

I just want to say

that I am not tech-savvy at all and even I can do powerpoints. Are you saying that these teachers don't know how to do powerpoints or they're just too lazy to do their own?

Having said that, I...

I like hOkie's idea

It makes the most sense and doesn't require you to bust your rear.

I swear, I worry about this all the time. My house is pretty clean. It's not immaculate, but it's clean.

I'm about to...

LOL I don't do high intensity

but I do cry most mornings, for a couple of minutes, after I finish my morning routine. I'm glad to know it doesn't mean I'm crazy..

Does this ever happen to you?

Is there a physiological reason for this or is it pandemic fatigue? Lately, when I do my morning exercises, I start crying at the end. Not ugly crying or really breaking down, but tears. There was...

Principals can come and go quickly

especially in a charter school. He may not be your problem for long. (OTOH, I know of a P who is very stressful to work for, and misogynistic in the bargain. He's been at the same school for like...

Makes me want to drop down to my knees and kiss his handsome face.

Everyone who answered

Thank you so much. After reading what people posted here, I feel a little more like I have a plan, or an idea of where to turn.

I am having a sort of emergency session on the phone today with my...

Fewer and less

Fewer people, less money!

Fewer options, less influence!

Fewer is for plurals; less is singular. It sounds awful to say, "There should be less people here." Can people not HEAR that that is...

Alternating days is what I suggest

I taught everything in one 51 minute block for years. I did reading one day, writing the next. If they're often writing about what they're reading, then it ties together nicely. I did writer's...
