it's true...

You pay $100 for 9 credits. In Pa they can move you to a level II certificate instead of the 23 or 24 credits needed for level II.

Do you have the on-line component that you can use with smartboards/projectors/TVs?
That makes is a little more interesting. The learning bridges are a lot more interesting.

OMG I never knew.....

In Pennsylvania, with some certifications of NB's, you can get your level II certification without doing the 24 credits. Just the 9 for NB certification. Call the state if you are teaching with less...

sorry, but I disagree...

I did EC Gen, I did SS and Art using a lesson taught in class. I teach to my state standards, but incorporated the NB standards as I taught it.

I wouldn't.

When I video taped my lessons in the beginning, I did that so the kids got used to it being there and I could listen to myself. BUT when the time came to tape for "real", my husband or co-worker...

Do you have any of those pointers that look like fingers? How about a drum stick? A dowel rod with a ball at the end? A long teacher pointer?
They work beautifully and they can reach anything at...

Not everyone that does NB's is honest and if they use your entry you can both be eliminated from the process.

I have teenage kids...

and I stuff their stockings with i-tunes gift cards, gas cards, jewelry, mechanical pencils, socks (gotta be practical), candy coal, gum and candies they like, movies, games for their game system.......

I love brainpop jr...

and have tried to save their movies in a smartboard file, but could not figure it out. I don't think it will let you save it or download them.

Can you scan the form that you hve to fill out and save it as a document, then have the students check off their choices?

You should then be able to print the document when they are done. At least...

It is COMPLETELY possible to bank your scores, look at one or two portfolio entries and try again. A friend of mine missed by 26, redid 2 portfolios and blew right passed the 275...
