https://www.growinghandsonkids.com/ I signed up for her newsletters so it came to me directly.

But I am not sure how to post it so it goes to the right pages. Like the PPs, these are best for...

LOL. Really?

I love pens, markers, "fancy" school supplies like shaped post-it notes or cute tape, good chocolate, hard candies, gift cards, candles, hmmm... I appreciate just being remembered...

The only...

I don't have the answers

to your questions. But my advice is to take whatever "costs" number you get and double it--maybe triple it.

There are soooo many factors for any sound advice here. Are you thinking an oversized...

All things considered

we will be a party of two... maybe three at most.

I plan to make a "DIY loaded Stovetop Stuffing dinner" with mashed potatoes/gravy and corn. I might add a cold green bean salad and cranberry...

I agree with Caseyree

I think of it as a positive attribute, not a negative one.

It is a life skill too many people do not possess. IF you find yourself becoming a doormat, succumbing to peer pressure, or some other...

Happened to me twice

Once with a USPS package that contained medicine. I notified the mailman and HE tracked it down at a neighbor's home... They had opened it and retaped it--could have been an honest error... But I...

If you are a beginner,

it would probably be easiest to do a simple checkerboard or "9 square" pattern.

That is what everyone in my family started with here. Choose 1 (or maybe 2) of your favorite colors from the...

How many in each class?

For an individual class, I have gone to Lowes or Home Depot and nab a bunch of paint sample cards.

I am not sure you want to do that though if it is a lot of kids...

But you could do...

diet controlled

My FIL was a diet-controlled diabetic--DH tries to deny or downplay this since it was easily controlled by his diet.

But FIL was very controlled himself and easily made the choices necessary--what...

I did not get the barriers

so this may not work but...

Can you place velcro dots or short velcro strips in key places so that the shields are less likely to tip or fall when leaning?

Or put command hooks in places where...

Our cases are up

and my local Walmart is back to business as usual. The aisle signs are gone, the limited enter and exit gone, the arrows and taped boxes on the floor gone. Any dividers or other precautions have all...

I knew

Spit and image > spitting image

But the one I didn't know was "tenterhooks" v. "tender hooks." I don't know that I've ever used it either way but still...good to know.

Oh yeah!

I loved it and binge-watched it all in one weekend.

This weekend, I did the same to Mindhunter. Highly recommend.

I drain it

then add 1 egg and some parmesan cheese.

I don't usually buy ricotta because it only comes in a big pagkage and I don't use it that often. If I buy the smallest tub of small curd cottage...

We make them with firm, unripe tomatoes. The meatier, less juicy ones work best. Generally, I use ones that break off prematurely or need culled for other reasons. I slice them about 3/8-1/2" and...

For us,

I wear mine most days. I take it off when I get home so there are occasional days I forget. DH has a ring tattooed on his ring finger so it is always there with no safety issues.

Aww. I want a therapy dog.

I am jealous too. My last district had a therapy/comfort care dog. He lived with the nurse and her family. He was amazing and the kids loved him.

LOL. Not really...

I live in SW Missouri and sometimes we experience all four seasons in one day. Layering is key.

There are very few things that I own that work for just one season-- and those are primarily based...

Can't "Do" but can RE-DO!

LOL. I sew, and I love it but cannot (will not?) follow a real pattern to save my life.

I haven't made any thing following a real pattern in over 30 years... But I frequently buy clothes cheaply...

I have one similar to that posted

I have a separate spray head to one side that was previously installed so I opted not to get the built in sprayer. Mine has a swivel head there that toggles between a solid stream and a spray.

for Target, Walmart and other places.

Even as a customer, I always precheck items like that just in case. I learned that early on--

Once my mom was looking at purses to buy one for herself. ...

I figure with some practice I could do it again. I love the idea of a manual tranny. It just seems more exciting. More youthful... maybe... All the best muscle cars have manual transmissions.

Same here

Stephen King was my favorite fiction and Ann Rule for non-fiction for years. Then I discovered Dean Koontz. Now I shuffle between them and love a chance for someone new.
