I think an odd number could be arranged in an array if you placed it in one row or in one column. For example, one row of 23 or 1 x 23.

I agree! Take measurements, make drawings, and plan on paper. My first day, I always end up just standing in my room and visualizing everything. People that walk by must think I'm weird.
