The picture was from the 40s but it had a weird shape and a slight (purposeful) bow to it. I tried to get a copy of it as another photograph and the cost was astronomical no matter where I looked.

Most of the prelit trees

now come in two or three pieces like a PP mentioned. You put them together and plug all the light together. They are kinda like a SciFi umbrella or sorts. You just fluff and decorate.

I miss the days before regulation

when the cooks cooked the meals and handled the presentation themselves.
