I just traded in my 8 year old Buick Enclave for a Nissan Rogue. I love it. About 5 teachers at my school...

I love using TRX straps.

I have never taken the trademark branded classes, but my previous exercise studio included them regularly. I loved those classes. You can control how hard you work your arms by where you stand under...

And thanks again!

Y'all are making me feel so much better. DH thinks I should wait a while longer to tell anyone I am retiring.

So for now... I will keep on trucking like I always have.

I will discreetly...

Thank you, Wildflowers

Some teachers don't say anything until around spring break. I don't think I can keep my mouth shut that long!! :)

Y'all are the best!!

Thank you so much for the encouraging words.

I have reached the years for the good benefits for Mississippi retirement. I could have retired 2 years ago, but I needed the 28. I will have enough...

Thank you, NJ.

I have new administration. I really do like them and the way our school is headed at our building level, but we have new directives that the entire district is starting.

I really, really wanted...

Thank you!

We are a month into the year and this group of students just won't settle down. It's getting harder each year.

I have started de-hoarding my stuff. Taking the advice of others who posted on...

I have posted about this. Students are always saying, "wait..." when they did not hear instructions. I am not hearing it as much this year. It drove me nuts.

How do you not let go of the rope in the last year?

I was kind of on the fence about retiring at the end of the year, but as the first few weeks have not brought me joy, I know for sure. I prayed for signs of what to do and it feels good to have my...

I think I am right there with you. There is a tiny bit of lingering doubt and guilt. It's scary to think of this big change that lies ahead.

I have prayed for signs of whether or not it is time....

Good ideas!

I don't think any businesses in town do these measures posted. It would offend the parents who spend a lot of money there!!

They need bouncers!

We did have a candy shop in town that had a teacher come in after school to help with crowd control. He was a guy that the kids liked so they responded well. When I am off campus I don't want to...

This may be a NUNYA business kind of thing for teachers, but anyway....

In my town 100's of middle schoolers and upper elementary students walk to our town square and surrounding businesses after...
