Eastland Mall

The first mall that was built around my childhood home was Eastland Mall in Harper Woods. It was built in the late 1950's. Before the mall we went downtown Detroit to Hudson's to shop.

pumpkin pie, green bean casserole, a poinsettia, and some homemade chex mix (we call it nuts and bolts) made with not only chex cereal but pretzels, nuts, fritos, cheerios and lots of yummy spices!!
