Love your classroom

How about...

Sailing to 100 days (with numbered sails)
For the rules how about making a poster that looks like one of those pool rules sign or a lifeguard sign.

How about a play on the word apple. I am thinking "Apple-auding" Perfect Attendance. I would love to see a picture when you're done.

Title storage

If you paste your titles on "splats", text boxes etc then you can store them easily in empty tag board boxes that you can get for free at your teacher supply stores. The good thing is they are ready...

Juicy words

How about simply titling it "Juicy Words". you can then print words on juice box cut out, juice can cut outs etc.

hi, I think your students are stuck on the terms associative and distributive rather than on the concept itself. When I did my first college level math there were adults who found the terms daunting....

Alternative to shower board

A few teachers at my school have covered their boards with high gloss white Formica which is used as a laminate on counters. They say it works perfectly.

My theme this year is bugs. My BB will have an ant holding a pencil with a caption above reading, "ANT" We Great Writers. This might also work for a garden theme.
