Often on those old irons are numbers. The number stands for the weight of the iron. I've seen old irons that ranged in numbers from 5-8.

Can you update...

by getting new sink fixtures in bath and/or kitchen? The fixtures are not deal breakers price-wise. Also new towel racks and tissue holders are not too much.<!--paper_owl-->
