Choosing a "Just Right" Book

I DID get rid of my teacher desk! I opted for one of those trapezoid shape tables for my computer and that's it...the kidney table is the way to go!

I have a "Chapter Books with Picture" basket..."Short Books" is SO much better.

I am keeping ALL my picture books in my library and have a Junie B basket and Magic Treehouse and Boxcar Children...

Journal time!!!

Have kids keep a daily journal. Have a new prompt every day (you can Google something specific for every day...like Nat'l Hug day...Clean up Clutter week, etc. There is always something special)....

You could tape border in the shape of a bulletin board and then set up your word wall....just a thought. :)
