Go for it

Lasagna is very forgiving and versatile. It will be fine. I use jarred sauce sometimes..and sometimes not. No problem.

I really like my temperpdic-like mattress. The kids are always sneaking into our room to get on the bed. Very comfortable. Not squishy. I didn't find it too hot.

I would go with LL bean.

I use a very heavy canvas bag that I got at a hardware store. It's meant for tools. I throw it in the washing machine now and then. I've had it for years.

Do all of the above! Mucinex is a modern miracle. Vapo rub on the feet is supposed to stop night time coughing somehow. Drink lots of OJ, water and warm tea/soup.
