give them a timeline and six or so statements to place on the timeline.

use an "I do, we do, you do" sort of lesson where you use the smart board to move and place the items on the timeline in...

My children are too big

But one of the granddaughters will be a HP character, probably Luna Lovegood, because she has blond hair, but she really doesn't care which character. Another will be an astronaut, and the youngest...

Scholastic often sells

boxes of books of a variety of titles. It seems like $40 for 40 books or something like that. You could give kids a choice and put the rest away for next year, or add them to your classroom...

I added an endorsement

while working full time. I was teaching 3rd grade, and I took 2 courses at night during the year and three during the summer. One course each semester was a graduate level course, and the others...

I don't know. It does depend on how sure you are that the man you're dating is the man charged with or convicted of extortion some 20 years ago in another state. As above, I lived in the same town...

But I'd have to buy

an IPOD to listen to my audiobooks
a camera
hook up a land line again

But if I got a flat tire or locked myself out of the car, I better hope there's someone...

I switched cat foods.

I entered teaching on a

provisional license in Virginia. I spent about 10 weeks in a career-switchers class, and spent a year with mentoring by a teacher assigned by my program. It WAS hard. I wouldn't recommend it as a...

I was thinking the same thing

as Suezie! As a teacher, I have no idea how to transition to another field. I transitioned from other fields into teaching. And when I did, I did have to get additional training and certification....

with refillable ink vats. Or get a laser printer.

I have a colored laser printer. If I buy the discount...

I don't know what else they could have done.

I'm not sure what else there was to do. Take the kids back to school immediately. Inform the parents. Get counselors.

The only thing I'm not sure of is lying to the kids and saying it was a...
