I love both zoos, but the CO Springs one is my favorite. You will be pushing your 2 year old up hills, as the terrain is quite hilly (but that is also what makes it so neat...it's literally built up...

I teach 2nd, too. I find it sad that a 2nd grader has a phone to begin with! Much less has access to it during school hours. Geesh.

If she's "bored", I'd be tempted to toss her some higher level...

I guess my post was more related to life outside teaching. The older I get, the more I realize how important THAT is, as opposed to my life within teaching.
