I teach 4th grade and the way I teach my students elapsed time....they get it! I use a SEE chart. The S stands for the start time, the E stands for the elapsed time and the last E stands for the end...

Gifts for parents and students

Kids love it!
I buy pens, green floral tape and some artificial flowers (I usually go to Dollar Tree) and we make flower pens for their parents. The kids enjoy making them and it is inexpensive.
