My District

Who is testing your son for dyslexia?

In my district, dyslexia is not tested by the district, but rather by a special doctor. Parents (or maybe their insurance) pay for the testing.

The...

Thoughts

When we talk with kids about beating a bully, we talk about how when you stand up to a bully and others stand with you, it makes the bully back down. It sound like your staff needs to do just that....

I Think...

I think disability is taxed differently. In my district, if you are on disability, you get 80% of your pay and there are no taxes.

I don't think it would be that hard to make copies of the checks...

Thoughts

At the beginning of third grade, some students will still be "learning to read."

Your classroom...

Just a Thought...

When I retired, I left all of my lit sets, trade books, and classroom library for the new teacher.

I remember beginning my career with nothing. It was hard those first five years.

I suggest if...
