Money is a problem as well.
Since most adults use debit cards now, and little actual cash is used, students are losing this skill as well. I have 3rd graders who don't know the coin value of dimes or quarters.

I so agree with Beachygirl!
I had a prince who wanted us to "Keep each other accountable" and I did not agree with that at all. We are colleagues. They are admin. It's their job to do the accountability part.
