I think you might want

someone else to taste them before going on to bake another pie.
I sometimes find fault with my own baked goods to have other people taste it and love it and claim it is perfect.

the best place to buy it is costco. It is still expensive compared to wheat flours, but much cheaper than other stores.

BTW-you should store almond flour in the refrigerator.

I would be concerned

not just for the child(ren) but also for the officer. If he has bad intentions, such as grooming, then this is really dangerous. If as you suggest he is just trying to make close personal connections...

We eat dinner late..
