I use socks as well! I don't like dry erase lapboards though. I found that they were too bulky. I use plastic page protectors. You can slip in blank paper or grid paper or anything that you want kids...

Ours didn't ask for near as much stuff! Nothing like germx, printer paper, or a flash drive. All of the stuff we asked for is just what the kids themselves will use (other than kleenex)....

Who knew!! I am making some back to school night gifts for my new students and discovered that you can use a sewing machine on construction paper! Looks much better than staples and is pretty strong!
