I'm tired of hearing distance learning referred to as homeschooling, when it's not. I bet actual homeschoolers are tired of hearing it as well.

I've looked up century plant and that put me in the right direction. The century plants leaves are too wide, but it does seem to belong to the same family, agave. I'll keep looking.:)
