My Options

These are the books I've read this past year and LOVED!

The Book Whisperer (I loved this one, but feel it lends itself to upper grades. However, I don't regret reading it at all. It was...

EnVision Program

I hate to give you opposing opinions, but I don't hate EnVision. Let me clarify by saying that I don't have to use it worksheet by worksheet in my district. But what I need is there if I want it....

We are most likely adopting EnVision, as well. Thank you for thinking that through already. I know that it will take a lot of storage space.

Honestly?

I think everyone modifies the Daily 5. I would do it just as the books says if my schedule allowed for that. Mine just doesn't this year. I found a blog that I really liked with a modified version...

Helpful

I felt the same way about last year-too much work on my part with little take away on the students' part. My team and I started our version (actually 2nd Grade Stuff's version) of the Daily 5. Her...

Ditto!

As hard as I try, my handwriting is not cute! So I make my charts with my students using my less-than-stellar handwriting, but then I type it and add a border that matches my room. In some ways, the...

I just bought a set of Flat Stanley books to use in my small group. However, I'm not overly familiar with it. Can you give me more information on it? Or show me where to find information?

App

My students LOVED Teach Me! It isn't free, but it is so worth it! As you answer correctly, you earn coins and can spend them on many different things within the app. It is my go-to!

If you want...
