Ugh, I agree! The way numbers are done here seems ridiculous and unlike anything I've experienced anywhere else. I am currently co-teaching. Myself and another teacher share a classroom.All.Day.Long....

Lesson plans

Our policy is the same as GeminiTwin. We have standards based planning for our units, but the individual lesson are basic with the activity and SOL.

Velcro

I found Command velcro last year and it's fabulous! It's a bit more expensive then regular velcro, but it held a few decently heavy items all year and didn't damage the wall or cabinet.

USB Port in Car

I have a 2013 Camry and I can charge my phone using the USB port. I prefer to use a car charger, but DH and I share one. I can and have used the USB when I need it.

We have exactly what you described. Our bookcases are not built ins, just from IKEA and fit perfectly. The couch sits back far enough that you aren't really looking up. It's not a problem :)

It's hard as a parent who does have boundaries, when your child constantly compares you to "those" parents. Well so and so's parents let them....yah, okay. Well then. I have a 2nd grader a few years...
