My husband passed shortly before Thanksgiving last year and I received many cards. There were nice notes on them which helped me know that I wasn’t forgotten.

Sorry to say it is possible. My dad fell and fractured his hip when he stood up from the sofa. His foot had fallen asleep while watching tv and he wasn’t able to support his weight.

They thought my husband had sepsis but he didn’t. It was frightening, but they explained it as fairly common and highly treatable. It’s hard, but try not to worry.
