I would recommend a daily prescription vs the Xanax which is for "emergency" type panic attacks. I have personally never found a "natural" remedy that works for generalized anxiety.

If he has a really horrible headache with the 103 I would watch out for meningitis. I have heard that's how it can present and go downhill really fast. Not trying to scare you just watch him closely...
