I am interested in the SAME thing!!

I am a first year teacher in a K/1 class in a charter school...I basically have nothing to follow & have been "winging" it so far...but am not thrilled with my progress :(

I love all of these poems!! I teach K/1 so some of them are too difficult but many of them we can use as a whole class.

It's good that you're still in the first trimester of the school year...I agree with the suggestions/tips above especially that you should spend the first few days with getting to know you activities...

classroom pet died

<sigh> our pet guinea pig Cupcake died this morning....it was truly a rough morning for us...we decorated a box, had a nice memorial & buried her in our yard --- I am feeling sooooo flipping upset...

Multigrade when I first started I was surprised that they ate so many times...yes most of them treat the first snack as a breakfast... I think I want to drop the last snack too I have only one...

k/1 curriculum (lack of one)
