I think Unicorngirl's
main point is being missed.
The teacher was rude in the way she asked and that is why she was venting.

Reading instruction
is very polarizing right now.
May I ask what the discrepancy is between your reading instruction and what the reading coach is suggesting?
So sorry this is happening to you. Coaches seem to...

Awful!
I am sorry your coworkers are so nasty and rude. What they did was wrong and it is completely understandable why you are upset. People like that should not be in education.
I have had similar...

This is a great thread and
I appreciate Haley23 bringing this issue to the Vent Board.
I agree with Haley23 that cultures can pressure people to work beyond what they should. I would draw the line with giving up planning...

Facebook has normalized bragging

Thank you for your perspectives.
It helps me see that maybe what I consider bragging is not. I like FB mostly to keep up with friends and family. I absolutely love baby and kid pictures. I also love pet pictures.
I guess the...

Facebook has normalized bragging
I am not a huge FB user. I do like some things about it but I am annoyed how it has normalized what I grew up thinking was bragging or boasting.
People put things on FB that would seem obnoxious...

I agree with
Game of Things.
It is much better than Cards Against Humanity and can be played as more of an adult game or with children.
