My thoughts too...

I thought it was illegal to have students in a room w/o a window? I know that homes cannot count a windowless room as a bedroom because there is no escape route...

But I would still choose it...

I feel for you. I accepted a position for fall, also 'at will' and no contract, so I am tentatively looking for something more permanent, money, benefits, etc. and feel guilty for even looking.

Parents, by law, are part of the IEP process. Goals are written along with the parents first, and then a placement is decided for where the goals will be met...NOt to say that the educators cannot...
