Our house came with roll-out shelves on the bottom cabinets. Each cabinet has a bottom shelf which does not roll out, and a second shelf midway up which does roll out.

If I were installing...

I find it hard to believe

that she thinks she has a case. Was the Lexus turning left behind him, or was she going straight? Is it her contention that he pulled out in front of her?

If they were both turning left, she...

The olden days, LOL

So, we're watching the Magic School bus swims upstream (migration) and at the end, the producer is talking on a (landline) phone. One of my kids commented that they had a phone with a wire. I said...

Why do they have a choice?

I don't. IF the student has an IEP that says he must be mainstreamed part of the day, he must be placed in a classroom. Why should they possibly be allowed to turn him down? Yes, with a para if...

How can your district advise you?

I would think you could/should consult with your principal and find out what resources are available to advise you. I'm sure there are things you can say, and things you should not say.

Overheard conversation

Grandpa: Do you want to go to the moon or Mars.

DGD(4): I want to go to the last planet in the solar system.

Grandpa: Pluto?

DGD: No. That's a dwarf planet. I said "last planet."

I looked at

the RAV4 and the Honda CRV, and ended up going with the CRV. I love it. My daughter is in love with her new car, the Honda HRV, which is a smaller version of a CRV.

Would be nice

but we "run out" of sub money every year around March, and if we take a day off, our classes are split, and I don't want to do that to my coworkers for a mental health day.

We don't

clean the lounge after other people. If we spill, we wipe it up. If we make a mess in the microwave, we clean it up. We have a Keurig. About two to three times a year, the custodians go through...

I had the same questions

I've been the inclusion teacher in a third grade classroom for at least 10 of the last 14 years. If the IEP says small group testing, then their tests can't be in a classroom with 21 other students....

Ah, you have a basement?

Try to get him to agree on a maximum amount of clothes that you could possibly need, say to last two weeks without doing laundry. Pick it his 14 favorite daily outfits, one dress outfit...

The problem MIGHT be the law...

The problem with the law comes from the assumption that if a particular school has disparity between their population and the number of each race that are being disciplined, the only conclusion to be...

In Utah and Idaho,

the students wear the leis on top of their gowns, sometimes multiple leis. I've only been to college graduations, so I can't say for HS. Some HS are pretty strict about stuff like that.

Also, in places

like JC Penney, where you buy the pants and coat separately, I would suggest two pairs of pants per suit coat.

Is there

an outside area that is not being used at all?

An inside area (like cafeteria) that has unused time?

You don't need

to have SPED credentials to be the inclusion teacher in a class of mixed ability students. There needs to be a SPED teacher assigned to give additional services.

Not that size

But I did live in Western Australia as a little girl, and we always had lizards crawling on the wall in our house, every day. They were only a few inches, and we never minded.

Now that one, I'd...

What if you do?

What if you do tell someone. What more can they do?

I would go back and ask. One, I'd want to know the reason for the request, and what is the duration of the request. I would never agree to...

No, but it was a different time

And my five girls were plenty busy with other things. There was soccer, drama, band, swimming, track, and later there were weekend jobs.

(So, first thing I'd recommend is to find something...

Do you already have a job?

If you're already hired at new job, I would not be too concerned that an improvement plan at your old job would come back to haunt you.

Are you in a state with a strong professional organization...

We do four classes every year.

We buy four gallon containers, serve four classes of 22-24 each, plus teachers. We add toppings. It usually works out perfect. I would think that two would be plenty.
