I just guess.

It can be any combination of anything. The kids love it! Do you read the poem that goes along with it? I do.

I am so sorry for your loss!

My husband does everything for my classroom too. I would be heartbroken to look around and know he is not here anymore. Hugs to you.:(

I always need

sticky notes (for Reading Workshop)
xerox paper
band-aids
tissues
I also ask the boys to bring in gallon zip locks and the girls to bring in quart size.
Books are always welcomed.

Last year I gave up the Basal

for the first time. One other third grade teacher and I were the only ones in the school who did it so we were basically alone trying to find lessons, assessment, etc. I don't regret it one bit. ...

I got mine at B.J.'s.

It is similar to Cosco or Sam's Club. It was $30 and the thermal sheets are so much cheaper than Walmart 6.99 for 50. I LOVE my laminator!

If you have a choice

I would ABSOLUTELY choose my family first. Take it from one who just sent her baby off to college, it goes so fast and you don't want to miss one milestone!

I got my idea from Pinterest.

I bought a very large frame in Hobby Lobby (on sale), lined it with teal scrapbook paper (it worked well with a black frame and my classroom colors) and hung it in my classroom. I use a dry erase...

I made three of them for my 3rd graders

They love them! We chose three different students each week to sit on them during IDR time during the reading workshop. They also lay over them with their bellys! LOL I used a pillow form instead...

I've used wide ribbon before.

If you can't get it wide enough, get a solid red or white scalloped border and put the ribbon above it just enough to let the scallop show. Hope I am explaining this right. It is really pretty.

I love my third graders!

You will too. They are still sweet but more independent. They come in as second graders, but as the year progresses, they grow quickly. They "get" humor, you can read novels to them (my favorite)...

Add me to the list

This is my 5th room change in 6 years. I told my husband every year I get older and it gets harder! But your library is so beautiful, that should give you the impetus to keep on keepin on!

Well even though it is a good store

and has everything from crafts to home decor, I wouldn't make a 100 mile trip. I used to live in NJ. and have friends that live there still. They love A.C. Moore, though I've never seen it. Hobby...
