For assessment purposes, if they bomb the non fiction, give them the fiction alternative.
I don't find there to be a sequential order to most NF texts. It's fact sponging. Right? Practice more...

It serves the purpose of book conversations at home and family accountability.
I love being able to see one week at a time, not a booklet, like I used to use.

3 color number

you make 3 sets of cards (1 use 1/2 a 3x5 notecard), all the same, just different color ink and a card with corresponding dot.

ex. you'd have laid out...

New Paint

Our parent group volunteered their time and painted four classrooms this year.
Teachers chose their class color.
I wasn't on the list to get paint, and felt very jealous.
A friend/teaching partner...
