state ideas

We've done a state brochure. Students create a trifold and include facts, photos, maps, etc. to "advertise" our state.

Booking sites (Expedia, etc.)

We had a bad experience years ago with a hotel reservation and it put a damper on my feelings of using any of the deals offered by the popular sites . I just feel more comfortable booking directly...

number of grades

For grade 4, I typically end up with about one per week in all academics. So there are 9 grades each 9 weeks. The only one that I struggle with is social studies!:confused:

Because it's a unique piece with character! I love it. I personally wouldn't paint it. It represents a time and place in your home. Maybe do the hardware if it's not working, but it's a great door.

Troop Zero movie, Grace and Frankie

I have a day off and have spent some of it lounging<!--giggle-->
I tried watching Troop Zero on Prime. It was a fine idea but just not a great movie at all. I love Alison Janney and Viola Davis too....

jigsaw puzzle strategy

We find all the border pieces first. Then sort all like colors into pans. Next work with both color and shapes to fill in. My 8 year old granddaughter uses shapes exclusively and can work lickety...
