sounds wierd but it works

rinse in Listerine- it gets rid of baby cradle cap and also what you are describing... my kids used it in their teens and you could always find a big bottle of it in the shower when they had a flare...

Kindle fires

I was lucky enough to get 4 Kindle fires from Donors Choose a few years ago and they are invaluable. I get most of the same apps that I get on my own mini ipad and I can get websites easily too....

I am shocked by this...

in our state (NY) the new teaching standards (and I have always done this) requires all Prek-5 teachers to differentiate ALL learners and that means readers-- to encourage them to continue reading...

I love all his mouse books with his natural children's "problems". It so leads to discussions of Character education and other health questions of family etc. and the kids so relate to the characters.

That's what is so wonderful!

We have so many good authors/programs that are truly worth modeling and encorporating in our classrooms. Hopefully the "bandwagon" mentality of administration will allow us to find yearly what works...
