Washington DC trip

Does anyone have any ideas for some great "off the beaten path" ideas for Washington DC? I don't want to be too touristy and I am open to anything.

Who earns extra cash during the school year?

How do you earn extra money throughout the year? I want to begin saving for some big purchases and/or save money to fund my vacations. I'm just looking for some ideas.

While it is slightly fresh on your mind, does your school have a theme to help motivate teachers and students during state testing?

My school expects people to take the entire set. I don't like that, but I didnt make the rules.
