I give each student a black sock to wipe the boards as we work and when finished

and only !!!!!!! Black markers

You could use hundred charts and have them design with a pattern and color it in.

Box of buttons, beads, etc to touch and make patterns then copy them on a hundreds chart

stageforlearning...has so many things to use with treasures. You will love 3rd grade. I taught 1st for 13 years and then moved to 3rd.
I love it and guess what...they know how to blow their own...

I'm looking for tic tac toe activity sheets that go with treasures reading. I've seen them on a second grade site but not 3rd. Any body have them before I try my not so creative hand.

bubble letters

Does anyone know of a program that will put a name into bubble letters that I can print out? I want to do a name glyph but can't figure out how to have the letters big enough or open to color in,...

I use the cheap ones for the first week and they are in manuscript.

I then introduce the new ones, they are adhesive and have mini office stuff on them

Now.....the name tag saver....I show...

As long as they give you the really smart 2nd graders and average 3rd, it works out well.

I always work on comprehension with my small groups. I either use the little readers or a game to practice the skill of the week and then they follow up with paper practice and then game practice....

Not bad ...however, target those that are having the most trouble and sit with them..maybe close to 2 of them. Your phisical body will encourage them as well as your encouraging words that you are...

I use unifix cubes a yellow, a red, and a green

They get them out when we begin math...if they are good, green is up, if a little foggy or confused, yellow, and red means they really don't get...

sounds like some of the juice may have spilled down into the pan..pull out the pan underneath and wash it well, bleach it and then after it dries sprinkle a little baking soda in it.
