Thank you for the good ideas for the present. I think I am going with the plant idea (or possibly a door wreath) .

I think wine and glasses are a great gift but I don't know them well enough to...

Oh, and I am looking...

Winning Wednesday

1. I didn't freak out when up against major tech failure that threw the whole schedule off.
2. I left school at a reasonable time... only 15 minutes past the requirement instead of usual 1.5 hours...

Vitamin B2

Ask your doctor about vitamin B2
(not B12). My relative's doctor told him it is a wonder for curing vertigo. I agree the thyroid issue is probably a huge factor but maybe B2 is something to add. In...

Have you had open house yet? Could you...

My mom "lost" a small jewelry bag...thought the maid stole it at the hotel. Several weeks later my dad found it inside the dress shoes he had taken on that trip.

Could it be in a place like...

Both

I'd like to try the whiskey...but I'd LOVE it if my kitchen could look like yours!

The ad on my screen at the bottom of this thread is for a whiskey called "Heaven's Door" by Bob Dylan. Might want...

An experiment

Maybe I will do my own little experiment...one group of desks for each strategy.
1. Tape
2. Velcro
3. Glue dots
4. Command strips

And a Sharpie on the ready (NoElephants) for when the above...

I did think about using velcro but they won't be needing to remove them (just at the end of the year). I was concerned with velcro the kids would rip, rip, rip and rip away at them and drive me...

Ok...now that I got your curiosity up...

Has anyone ever used glue dots to attach name plates to desks? If so, do you recommend it? What brand were they?

How about command strips?

In the...

Add food coloring to small saucers of milk.
Use new paint brushes to paint pictures or designs on white bread slices. The paint is the colored milk.

Can't return

I know the store owners would have taken them back but I had already thrown out the packaging. I went back and bought the old style ones.

Light bulb vent

Apparently the LED lightbulbs for can lighting must specify "for dimmer switches".
Good news: I didn't buy enough to replace all 8 fixtures.
Bad news: I wasted $10.
