That is creepy. Plus, the guy is taking a chance because so many people are armed these days. Actual police officers have gotten shot doing traffic stops. Imagine if the person he pulls over was...

I had to go for a 6 month recheck one side mammogram myself this year after having a biopsy early in 2019. I had good results as well, so I know how stressful the entire thing can be. ;)

True, pdxteacher

It is a legitimate question to have listed for the reasons you mentioned, especially for a new patient. However, I also agree that any questions on a form are strictly the option of the person who is...

Good Things

DH just retired, so we will be able to spend much more time together doing whatever we want to do--or not do--on any given day. I am hoping we will do a little traveling just for a day or two at a...

I am so sorry this happened.

I am glad the MD was there so he could get the two of them to knock it off. It sounds like there is probably more to the story. I also cannot imagine anyone acting that way in church. That said,...

As am I

I don't miss the early mornings, the late meetings, the "voluntary" extras of all kinds, spending my money on so many things that should have been supplied by the school system, endless/useless...

:(I had been having some worries because I had to get a follow up mammogram after a biopsy 6 months ago. I had much better news than you did just today! I can imagine how I would have felt if I had...

I only do when I leave the house.

I am usually at home so there's always a clock nearby and I really don't care what time it is most days. I only try to get something out for supper in the morning when I am having my breakfast....

Hope you have had a better day today!

I know it has to have driven you crazy to be in pain and unable to move around freely.

I can relate to the relaxing

mornings and the unhurried pace of retirement. I also need to clean out a closet or an entire room or several rooms. I did clean out half of one of my bedroom closets earlier in the early...

Do what you need to do.

Most of us began teaching at the typical fall start date of the school year in our school district(s) so we usually finish in the spring of the year. Typically this is due to the requrements of the...

Just checked in today 12/2.

Great to hear from you and to know that you are doing so well. The holidays are always a little bit hard due to the losses of so many family members over the years and more recently my SIL. I agree...

I have not.

I have a younger friend who has to have them periodically for an eye disease. I think it may be macular degeneration, but not sure. I hope you have relief of your symptoms. Let us know how it goes...

Just reading this on Monday 12/2 morning.

So glad you posted this message. I have been feeling a little sad for awhile now. Part of it is due to the loss a few months ago of my SIL to ovarian cancer. Even though it was not unexpected, it was...

Interesting about the catered meal.

We used to have catered meals for special occasions like baby showers, but it was at the school building and we collected money from staff at the beginning of the year for a social fund and made...

my closet last spring. Now I need to do sooo much more! I have no excuse since my sewing machine is at the shop! I did clean and dust with Pledge the tops of all the bedroom furniture the other day....

Glad you checked in today.

I did as well. I have been retired awhile and don't check in much anymore either. My husband will be retiring at the end of the year. He had to wait for his SS to kick in though this company has...

Be sure to tell us what you did afterward.

I have to live vicariously these days. Anywhere warm sounds great, especially today with this rainy, chilly day. It's 36 degrees now and I think the high is supposed to be 40 degrees. Enjoy your trip!

She sure had some fun!

I still remember the wet muddy shoes smell from my old country classroom and school back in the day. Most of the kids I taught sure didn't live in houses on paved streets and really, neither did I...

I miss the ones from

Sears, Montgomery Wards, and the big Penneys catalog. It seems like they carried everything anyone could want or need, especially Sears. Now the actual Sears and Montgomery Wards stores are no longer...

Just reading this on Monday morning.

I hope you went ahead and took the day off because you are probably not quite over it yet. Being at school is miserable when you are not feeling well. It is a huge energy drain and it sounds like you...

Some people on social media have

real problems if you ask me. I find Twitter to be much worse, but perhaps that's because on FB you can set your accounts to prevent a great deal of the mischief and rudeness. Very sorry this happened...
