Sub plans

I take am usually only out if I have a meeting or a medical appointment. I don't get as stressed out as I used to about subs. I try to leave more than enough for a sub to do, and not worry about it....

Queen of the Falls

Chris Van Allsburg is one of my favorites. I would say Queen of the Falls is a biography. I am attaching a picture of something he wrote about the book on Amazon.

Math game

Google search for the math game Contig. You need 3 dice. Kids can get fact practice for all four operations. My 4th graders love it.

Another Van Allsburg

Wreck of the Zephyr. All of his books are amazing for drawing conclusions. Another favorite- Amos and Boris by William Steig. Great vocabulary!
